When your heart is denied
of the feelings you feel
and the world has defied
you for being unreal you begin to turn
your anger to hate
the flames they burn
sealing your fate.

You feel no love
No mercy you show
You were once a white dove
but are now a black crow
the past haunts you
it's a wound that won't heal
the memory taunts you
at its mercy you will kneel.

You cannot hide
from your everlasting guilt
washed in by the tide
your world twists and tilts.
Can you get away
from the prison you made?
there is only one way...
let the anger fade-
