1) Drop your weapons! Anakin charges to the rescue, slicing through the door to the chamber where Padmé and Jar Jar are being held by the mad Dr. Vindi, strapped to a device that delivers strong electrical current. Anakin calls out to her. Vindi threatens that if Anakin comes any closer, his friends will die. He activates the device, sending painful electrical currents through Padmé and Jar Jar, and demands Anakin and his troops lower their weapons. Anakin immediately does so.

2) Next time, save me first? Vindi recognizes he can't defeat a Jedi, so he offers Anakin the classic comic book choice: go after him, or save the girl. Of course Anakin opts for the latter, slicing apart every battle droid in the room while Vindi escapes, then running over to Padmé. He cradles her face and strokes her cheek, asking if she's all right. She says that maybe next time he should save her before destroying all the droids, to which he wryly replies that a little thanks might go a long way.
